Jesus revealed to Sister Mary of St. Peter that a picture of the Holy Face should be the exterior symbol to be venerated by the members in the Work of Reparation, similarly as the Sacred Heart is the exterior object representing His boundless love in the Eucharist. The Holy Face is the exterior object of adoration that repairs the sins of blasphemy, idolatry, irreverence, and profanation of Sundays and Holy Days. We are to make reparation for the sins of blasphemy by offering Christ's wounded Face to His Eternal Father.
Jesus revealed to Sister Mary of St. Peter how the sin of blasphemy wounds His Heart.
"He made me see that this frightful sin wounds His divine Heart more grievously than all other sins, showing me how by blasphemy the sinner curses Him to His Face and attacks Him publicly.... Our Lord then made me visualize the act of blasphemy as a poisoned arrow continually wounding His divine Heart. After that He revealed to me that He wanted to give me a "Golden Arrow" which would have the power of wounding Him delightfully, and which would also heal other wounds inflicted by the malice of sinners."
Jesus dictated "The Golden Arrow Prayer" to her for the reparation of blasphemy against His Holy Name.
