The Chaplet of the Holy Face comes from Sister Mary of St. Peter, a Carmelite nun of Tours, France in 1843. The purpose of the Chaplet is to honor the five senses of our Lord Jesus Christ and make reparation for the sufferings which our Lord endured to His Holy Face through these senses during His Passion.
